If your first language makes a tongue flick or tap on the roof of your mouth for the R sound, then you are going to be working on the sound of R in English. If you already follow my lessons, you’ll know that I teach the ER sound before the Initial-R. It’s just easier that way. This worksheet presumes you know how to make the ER sound already and now you are working on Initial R sound. Here are some words followed by different vowels, so you can practice moving from the R articulation on to various vowel sounds.
