Use Guiding Principles Rather Than Publisher Exercises to Teach Pronunciation

After years (and years) of teaching ESL and EFL, I have distilled my knowledge, skills, and experiences into guiding “principles” in a few areas of teaching, and happily, no longer have to search for materials or buy something a publisher has written and mass-marketed.  I’m developing a Masters Class in teaching English pronunciation, intonation, rhythm.  If you’re a teacher (even if you’re an adult student) and are interested in participating, please contact me on my Facebook page (you’ll find the link in the top right corner of this website). I leave you with this message:

Peggy Tharpe teaches, coaches, and publishes about English pronunciation and intonation. She believes that if you understand why something is happening, you're better able to address it and change it. She teaches the "why" of pronunciation as well as the "what" and "how".
