Teaching with the Case Method

Case Study Handbook, How to Read, Discuss, and Write Persuasively About Cases, by William Ellet

Published by Harvard Business Review Press, this looks like it will fill a gap–a need for a variety of teaching materials using case studies.  If anyone has used this, please let me know how it went.  I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet, however many of the graduate students I work with find themselves immersed in case studies at university.  For ESL and EFL graduate students studying in the U.S., they not only have to master the language related to the case, but also the language related to the study and discussion of cases, not to mention persuasive language, analytical language, and how to negotiate turn-taking in graduate class discussions.
